he Society is named after the patron saint of charity - St. Vincent de
The St Martha’s Conference works to assist people in our Kingwood community and surrounding areas of Humble, New Caney, and Porter. Financial assistance with rent, utilities, medicines and food are some of the ways to aid the needy. The Conference is funded mainly by donations from our parishioners and other interested individuals and groups. The main fundraisers are the Black Bag collection at Masses on specific Sundays and a few special events during the year. Because the Conference expenses are minimal, it returns about 99% of the donations to the people in need. Also we work with other ministries and agencies in the parish and in the area to best serve the needs of each client.
The Society services people regardless of race, religion, age, and cultural differences. Donations are always welcome and can be dedicated in memory or to honor someone or for special achievements. If you would like to make a monetary tax-deductible donation to this non-profit 501-c (3) organization, please make your check payable to: St. Vincent de
