Paula Amsler

I have been a parishioner at St. Martha for 25 years and I have three children, Danny-30, Mary-26 and Elise-23.  
 
I am the pro-life coordinator and Gabriel Project coordinator for the parish and am also a board member at Birthright in Humble.
I am a registered nurse and am the school nurse at St. Martha Catholic School.  I love my job and the ability to take care of our students.
 
I have been divorced for ten years and am the coordinator for the Divorce Support Group at St. Martha.  
 
During my divorce, I sought out the guidance of a spiritual director at our parish and this was so beneficial to me.  With much prayer and discernment, I felt God leading me to the spiritual direction ministry so that I could help those going through similar loss and grief.  I want to share how God's grace and mercy have brought me through very difficult times. I am also able to help those who are going through divorce and separation in the divorce support ministry.  
 
I have been a spiritual director for two years and I am seeing two full-time clients at this time. 
 
I have had my marriage annulled and have gone through this process for anyone interested in discussing this with me.  
 
I love to play piano and compose music.  I also love to dance and spend my weekends dancing at polka festivals and country/western dances.
 
My three children live in California, Colorado and Washington DC so I also spend my time off and summers visiting them.
