Francine Puglia

I am a wife, mom, and Nana and married to my husband Deacon Guy for 48 years.   We have two grown children and five grandkids.   I recently retired from my full-time position at St. Martha and now serve primarily as a spiritual director.   I completed the certification for spiritual direction in 2011 (Spiritual Direction Institute, Cenacle Retreat House, Houston Texas) and received a Master of Art in Pastoral Studies in 2014 (University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas). 
 
I am drawn to Ignatian Spirituality and Passionist Spirituality and sense the essential charism of a spiritual director is that of listening.   I have found that one way to prepare for spiritual direction is to ask yourself every day, “What is God up to in my life?” To quote a favorite author, Franciscan priest, Fr. Albert Haase: “Your life is the megaphone through which God is speaking to you”   

As a member of St. Martha parish since 1988, I am delighted to companion fellow parishioners on their journey of faith.
