Family Catechesis is a program for families to grow in their faith together and build up the domestic church at home. Catechesis lessons are taught at home each week by the parents with a monthly family session in the Family Life Center. The parents will enjoy a guest speaker while the children are taught by volunteer catechist in the classroom within grade level groups. The families will then come together for a family activity.

Selecting this program requires a certain dedication and willingness as parents to fulfill their role as the first catechist for their children, and a commitment to gather regularly and intentionally as a family for prayer and lessons.
As family's journey through Family Catechesis, parents, as well as children, begin practicing and experiencing their faith in new ways, and invite Jesus Christ into their family life.

Chapters lessons (sessions) should be completed between September and April. Parents will be given instructions on teaching the sessions and completing the assessment after each session. The assessment submission will be necessary for attendance requirements.
