Food pantries are open for drive-through food distribution with hours each week at our three locations: Guadalupe Center in Houston; Mamie George Community Center in Richmond; Beacon of Hope Center in Galveston. Free testing at United Methodist Medical Center, 510 West Tidwell, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. Beginning next week, testing will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Only people who are showing symptoms of the virus - generally cough, fever and shortness of breath - will be eligible for testing. Test results are expected within 24 hours
