Please find the TWO options for this year's Service Experience listed below, for you to choose which one you would like to do.
Please pick ONE to complete.
Each experience requires a brief reflection form to share with us your experience and complete the mission.
#1 The IN PERSON Beautification Day on Saturday, April 10 from 12-9pm. Please fill out online registration form by clicking on link below.
It will be a day for us to gather as a parish family to work, pray, and play together. From 12pm-4pm we will dedicate ourselves to caring for our common spiritual home by completing a series of service projects on both campuses. Then, we will go get cleaned up and reconvene for Mass at 5:30. Finally, we will gather in the courtyard outside of the Church after Mass for a free dinner hosted by our Knights of Columbus and watch a movie. Attendance for the WHOLE experience, including service, prayer, and community building from 12pm - 9pm is required for successful completion of the Service Experience, along with the online reflection form to share your experience with us (Registration and Reflection form links are below).
All family members are welcome! Please contact Zachary with any questions or concerns @ zacharym@stmartha.com

Please see two attachments below which explain what the Works of Mercy are and examples of each Corporal and Spiritual Work of Mercy. The details of this mission are outlined in the attachment. To compete this mission, fill out the online reflection form found by clicking the Works of Mercy Service Reflection option link below. There is NO registration form for this option, only the completion of the reflection form. If you have any questions about this option, please contact salisha, salisham@stmartha.com
Updated Calendar is below.
Confirmation Prep at St. Martha is in two stages:
1. Life Teen Track A (on-going high school catechesis), followed by
2. Confirmation Sacrament Prep (on-going high school catechesis, sacrament prep, and Confirmation)
Confirmation preparation is a two-year process. A student must complete one year of on-going high school catechesis prior to registering for Confirmation Sacrament Preparation. This is accomplished by registering for and completing Life Teen Track A.
Please let me know about absences beforehand. You may e-mail me at salisham@stmartha.com or phone (281) 358-1959 x251
Thank you kindly for your time and attention. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free and contact me.

“Preparation for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christian toward a more intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit - his action, his gifts, and his bidding - in order to be more capable of assuming the apostolic responsibilities of Christian life. To this end catechesis for Confirmation should strive to awaken a sense of belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ, the universal Church as well as the parish community. The latter bears special responsibility for the preparation of the confirmands.” [CCC #1309]
